A smile makeover is not a procedure, it is a sequence. Whitening, bonding, veneers and crowns each do one job; the value is in deciding which of them you need, in what order, and where to stop.
Done piecemeal, cosmetic work tends to look like cosmetic work. Planned as a whole, it looks like teeth.
What it covers
Colour, shape, alignment, proportion and how the whole thing sits against your face. Sometimes that is one treatment. Sometimes it is four.
The design starts from your features rather than from a catalogue of smiles, which is why nobody else’s plan would suit you.
What we might use
Teeth Whitening
Lifts the overall shade. Almost always the first step, because everything else gets matched to the colour you settle on.
Dental Bonding
Composite added by hand to repair chips, close small gaps and even up edges. Reversible, and done in a single visit.
Porcelain Veneers
Thin porcelain shells over the front teeth, changing shape, colour and apparent alignment together. £800 a tooth, or £720 on the plan.
Crowns & Bridges
Where teeth are broken down or missing, these rebuild the foundation. Cosmetic work only lasts if what is underneath is sound.
Depending on what we find, implants or gum reshaping may also form part of the plan.
How it runs
- Consultation — what you dislike, what you want, and what is realistic.
- Assessment — a full examination with photographs and x-rays, because cosmetic plans built on unsound teeth do not last.
- The plan — written out, costed, and talked through before anything starts.
- Treatment — carried out in the right order, over as many visits as it takes.
- Review — checked, adjusted and finished properly.
